Payal and her team at Commune Kitchen conducted a team building cooking class for us. Our team really enjoyed themselves and the Thai menu we prepared was delicious!

My colleagues and I attended the 2 hour dumpling making class with Chef Payal and all 9 of us loved it. 5 mins walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT station, it was organized at a social kitchen space at OUE Downtown Gallery in heart of the Central Business District of Singapore. The place is neat and trendy with all facilities we needed for the class. Payal was great fun to work with. She walked us through the steps of making dumplings and helped us along the way, giving us tips and fun facts from the Chinese food culture. We ended up buying three copies of her cook book as well. Over all it was a pleasant experience. Perfect activity for small and medium size groups looking for bonding activities or just have fun in the kitchen.

Some friends and I attended the Chinese dumpling cooking class with Payal last week and had an absolutely brilliant time. Payal is extremely knowledgeable about Chinese cuisine and gave us four Westerners some truly excellent advice about where to source ingredients and how best to prepare them. The bonus; the dumplings tasted amazing. I am strictly gluten free (coeliac) and Payal was very, very careful to ensure my dumplings were kept "clean". It was great to be able to learn how to make mine gluten free while my friends made theirs the traditional way, and we had a lot of fun.
