Chocolate-making

Indulge in the Art of Chocolate Making

Join us for a decadent, hands-on experience where you’ll uncover the magic of bean-to-bar chocolate making—transforming raw ingredients into something deeply indulgent and soulful.

Learn to melt, temper, and work with chocolate like a professional, mastering the techniques behind that perfect snap and glossy finish.

Move into a moment of creative expression as you craft your own signature chocolate bark, adorned with a curated selection of toppings—from roasted nuts and tangy dried fruits to warming spices and delicate botanical elements.

As part of our sustainability bartending philosophy, you’ll explore how overlooked kitchen ingredients can be reimagined into refined, flavour-forward beverages. Using trimmings, peels, and surplus from the kitchen, you’ll create a thoughtfully crafted drink—discovering how zero-waste practices can elevate both creativity and taste.

Take home your handcrafted chocolate creations, along with practical skills and mindful techniques to recreate the experience again and again.

To complete the journey, guests may choose from a selection of dining experiences—each thoughtfully curated to complement the session. Enjoy a nourishing 3-course plant-powered meal, or opt for a vibrant Peranakan buffet or an elegant high tea set, all prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients and a rooted, refined approach to flavour.

Perfect for chocolate lovers, curious creators, and teams seeking a meaningful, sensory escape.

My colleagues and I attended the 2 hour dumpling making class with Chef Payal and all 9 of us loved it. 5 mins walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT station, it was organized at a social kitchen space at OUE Downtown Gallery in heart of the Central Business District of Singapore. The place is neat and trendy with all facilities we needed for the class. Payal was great fun to work with. She walked us through the steps of making dumplings and helped us along the way, giving us tips and fun facts from the Chinese food culture. We ended up buying three copies of her cook book as well. Over all it was a pleasant experience. Perfect activity for small and medium size groups looking for bonding activities or just have fun in the kitchen.

Some friends and I attended the Chinese dumpling cooking class with Payal last week and had an absolutely brilliant time.  Payal is extremely knowledgeable about Chinese cuisine and gave us four Westerners some truly excellent advice about where to source ingredients and how best to prepare them.  The bonus; the dumplings tasted amazing. I am strictly gluten free (coeliac) and Payal was very, very careful to ensure my dumplings were kept "clean".  It was great to be able to learn how to make mine gluten free while my friends made theirs the traditional way, and we had a lot of fun.
