Payal is a passionate chef of Asian cuisine, and worked as an independent cooking instructor and as chef for an online supermarket in Shanghai. She now lives in Singapore and runs cooking classes to promote healthy Asian and Southeast Asian cooking. This book contains over 100 tried and tested recipes from Payal's kitchen. These include recipes that she grew up with, and many more that she learnt during her travels in Asia. It contains popular Indian and Thai classics like Butter Chicken, Tikka Masala, Jalfrezi, Papaya Salad, and Pineapple Fried Rice, to mention a few.

My daughter cooked Payal's Lamb curry and Spinach and chickpea curry. They were delicious. My daughter is 13, and she’s never really cooked. So I supervised her, showing her how to peel, cut, slice and got out all the spices from the freezer but she followed the cookbook and did it all by herself. Easy to follow recipes with step-by-step instructions. Thank you Payal!

Payal’s cookbook is my bible. I use it a lot. If you love lamb, and if you love curry, you need to try this hearty dish! Was feeling a bit run down today and tried the Lamb Masala recipe, it instantly picked me up! I’m sure all these warm spices gave me immune system boost and keep me going!💪🏻 Thanks Payal Thakurani again for the wonderful recipe! It became my absolute new favorite!

Made Lamb korma for the first time. With yogurt and fresh mint leaves and cilantro. And a sprinkle of chili Padi for the adults. Love mine with a generous squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Payal Thakurani, can’t resist your recipes!
